Listen, I watch a LOT of food content - whether that be on TikTok, YouTube, TV shows, you name it I have seen it. This leaves me with a lot of restaurant recommendations from strangers who I am not sure I trust (I do trust chefs though). I’ve decided to create a series where I try out popular NYC restaurants for myself and showcase their location as well as their food! I’ve heard so much buzz about Clinton Street and their famous blueberry pancakes for years and finally decided it was my turn to get my hands on those pancakes!

For this video I wanted to take a basic recipe that is universal, classic, and accessible then make it even better with a few easy steps! Recipe videos tend to perform best when they showcase something new that the average viewer may not have thought of. It’s always a bonus when the recipe isn’t daunting and you don’t need to be a trained chef to recreate it at home! These tips were passed down to me from my mother and I know from years of experience that these cookies are more-often-than-not the best cookies at the party. In a world of crazy recipes, I wanted to go back to basics and share an easy dessert that viewers of all ages could make and enjoy!

Faccio’s “worth the hype” CONCEPT
I have been in search of the perfect Italian sub for a while now, and this deli was on my list long before I saw them being posted all over the NYC foodie accounts. Now felt like the perfect time to check it out and not only see if it’s worth the hype, but also worth the PRICE. I am all for paying a little bit more for food that’s a lot-a-bit better, but I find that sometimes the more expensive “viral” restaurants are up-charging based on acclaim and presentation alone. A major part of what I want to explore with this series is how many places are perfect for Instagram pictures, but not exactly the best of the best in terms of taste.
